TranWords（下称「本扩展」）是一款双语网页翻译浏览器扩展，由独立开发者开发与维护。本扩展的设计原则是：开发者不经手任何用户数据——开发者没有服务器，不设账号体系，也不部署任何统计或分析工具，因此在技术上不存在开发者收集用户数据的通道。本政策说明扩展运行中哪些数据被处理、流向何处。

TranWords ("the extension") is a bilingual webpage-translation browser extension developed and maintained by an independent developer. The extension is built on one principle: the developer never touches your data — there is no developer server, no account system, and no analytics or tracking of any kind, so there is technically no channel through which the developer could collect user data. This policy explains what data is processed while the extension runs and where it goes.

They are never uploaded, never synced across devices, and never shared with third parties.Text to be translated is used only to obtain a translation from the service you selected; your API key is used only to send the translation requests you initiate to the corresponding service. None of this data is used for advertising, credit assessment, or training machine-learning models, and none of it is sold or transferred to third parties beyond the developer's control.
Translation services you choose are governed by their own privacy policies; selecting a service in the settings constitutes your acceptance of its terms. The developer cannot control and is not responsible for how third-party services handle data.
Translation results exist only in the memory of the current page and disappear when the page is refreshed or the extension is closed; they are never persisted. Locally stored settings and API keys can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing its data from your browser's extension management page.

The extension does not collect any data from children.
